It's the small things

Yesterday, I purchased a 12-pack of ultra fine tip Sharpies. Ever since, I've been really happy about having these permanent markers in my possession. I know they aren't anything special, but I write so well with them and I now have 12 color options. For me, it just takes the little things to get me excited, I guess. Do you feel this way about anything? -LB

the other day my desktop computer finally started working and it was awesome... and it just made my day so much brighter... and then when it broke again, I felt gloomy again, but only when I thought about it. It's things like that, that can make your day just a smudge better.

V5 precise are my favorite pens btw.

I love that kind of Sharpie. I actually bought the big set of those last year when they went on sale at Target. I bought a new calendar today and it is still blank, which makes me feel peaceful. However, by tomorrow, it will be full of dates . . .

Um, sharpies, obviously. Or the smell of new books.

Yeah... The smell of new books. I like that.

I also love the smell of the post office and of little hardware stores, like Oscar's.

Oh my gosh! When I was in the hospital I had my dad buy me just the 8 pack of super fine sharpies and I am still so excited about those after 2 weeks. I did not know there was a 12 pack!! I may need to send my dad back to office depot! --tera

My thing is Pilot gel pens, which can also be had in a large color assortment package. A Pilot gel pen and a smooth, high quality piece of paper....ahhh! Makes me actually enjoy compiling my to do lists, which is saying something.

Hey Tera! They actually make a 24 pack! Maybe your dad will get that for you, seeing how you're in such a delicate state here lately. -LB

The small things--like Cheerios, which provide hours of both entertainment and nutrition for my daughter; and a cup of hot tea for me to unwind after she goes to bed! Though I must say, I walked away from the 24 pack of Sharpies during the back to school sale at Target, and now I may not forgive myself:-)
